Firecrackers Precautions

1. Some firecrackers contain active metals such as magnesium and aluminum. They should be stored in a cool and dry place, away from sources of fire, not exposed to direct sunlight, and not placed in damp places.
Magnesium and aluminum, in the presence of oxidants such as potassium nitrate, potassium chlorate, and sulfur, can produce flammable hydrogen gas (H2) when exposed to water, which is prone to explosion.
2. The discharge must be kept away from gas stations, manhole covers, electrical equipment, gas equipment, factories, etc. to avoid danger.
Pay special attention not to ignite on the manhole cover, especially in sewage wells and manure wells. Some people like to light firecrackers on the manhole cover, which is absolutely necessary. The well usually contains a certain amount of biogas, mainly a mixture of methane (CH4) and air. If Mars comes into contact with biogas after ignition, it can cause an explosion.
3. When setting off, pay attention to the appropriate distance
After ignition, regular firecrackers need to be evacuated 5 meters away, while slightly more powerful ones need to be evacuated 10 meters away. Excluding those held by hand.
4. Ignite method
Firecrackers are usually lit with incense sticks, and are rarely lit with lighters or matches. Special attention should be paid when using open flames. Also, pay attention to the instructions on the packaging for ignition
5. Precautions after ignition
Various problems are inevitable in the production of firecrackers, which may cause the firecrackers to not explode when set off. At this time, it is important to avoid looking to prevent sudden explosions.
6. Dismantling is prohibited
All types of firecrackers are strictly prohibited from disassembly to prevent explosions caused by friction or impact.
